I work from my studio in Dunbar, East Lothian. Visits are available by appointment and are a lovely way to see available paintings, works in progress and the materials that sit behind the practice.
Commissions
I take on a small number of commissions each year, allowing time for each work to develop slowly through research, material experimentation and painting. I currently accept up to two commissions annually, and the process usually takes several months.
A commission might begin with a landscape that holds particular meaning for you, or with fragments such as letters, papers or found materials that carry a connection to a person or place. The process is collaborative, but the finished work remains rooted in the layered, abstract language of my wider practice. If you have an idea you would like to explore, please get in touch.
